Efficient and sustainable: Repair instead of buying new
Welding equipment has become increasingly complex as digitalization progresses.
Our experienced technicians analyze and repair equipment from different generations and manufacturers precisely and efficiently. Thanks to close collaboration with manufacturers, we guarantee optimal maintenance and repair for both modern and older equipment.
Proactive maintenance to prevent breakdowns
Regular maintenance in accordance with BGV A1 BGR 500 / VDE 544-207 can prevent many repairs.
Early identification and resolution of potential problems extends the service life of your machines and minimizes downtime. This economic advantage ensures stable and efficient production.
Minimal downtime through replacement equipment
We are aware that production downtime is costly.
Therefore, we offer you high-performance replacement machines upon request to bridge the repair time. This ensures that your production remains uninterrupted during the repair.
UVV testing for welding technology: Safety and legal requirements
As an operator of welding equipment, you are obligated to regularly check the safety of your welding equipment – and not only for legal reasons. Welding equipment is considered work equipment under the German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV) and is subject to the accident prevention regulation (UVV) BGR500 / BGV A3.
This requires safety inspections at specified intervals and after repairs. Regular inspections allow for the early detection of major damage, preventing production downtime and costly repairs.
Why is the UVV inspection important?
Besides providing legal protection, a safety inspection (UVV inspection) safeguards your employees and ensures the proper functioning of your equipment. Dirt, technical defects, and wear and tear are common occurrences. A thorough inspection prevents unforeseen breakdowns. If the inspections are not carried out correctly, fines, liability claims, and even exclusion from insurance coverage in the event of damage – especially in cases of personal injury – may result.
Risks of non-compliance
Failure to comply with the UVV inspection can have serious consequences:
In addition to legal consequences, insurance coverage and liability in the event of damage may be voided. In the case of a fire caused by an untested device, there is even a risk of the insurance company denying liability.
