In 1973, Irmgard and Wilfried Heidenbluth founded Heidenbluth Welding Technology in Fuldabrück-Bergshausen with the goal of offering first-class welding technology. From the very beginning, their focus was on combining quality, expertise, and customer satisfaction. 1973

Welding technology as a life's work

Heidenbluth Schweißtechnik GmbH was founded by Irmgard and Wilfried Heidenbluth in Fuldabrück-Bergshausen (near Kassel). With great dedication, they built a company and laid the foundation for their later success. From the very beginning, the company has been characterized by passion, innovative technology, and social commitment.

1986

Entry of the second generation through Armin Heidenbluth

Armin Heidenbluth, shareholder and managing director of today's Heidenbluth GmbH, joined the family business in 1986 and continues to shape the company's fortunes as shareholder and managing director.

1991

Heidenbluth establishes a branch in Thuringia

After a successful first 18 years, Wilfried and Armin Heidenbluth decided to open another location. The first branch was opened in Nordhausen, Thuringia. Both locations now have their own service area where various welding products are repaired.

1999

Heidenbluth now also on the web

In 1999, Heidenbluth launched its own website. As one of the largest wholesalers in central Germany, Heidenbluth carries renowned brands such as EWM, ESAB, and Abicor Binzel, and continuously expands its product range in the welding and cutting sector. With 20 employees, the company enters the new millennium.

2005

New headquarters and establishment of the application center

In 2005, Heidenbluth GmbH moved its headquarters to new, larger premises at Ostring 1A in Fuldabrück-Bergshausen. The application center was founded that same year. With its focus on the automation of welding and cutting technology, the company laid the foundation for its current success early on. At that time, automation solutions such as welding robots, as well as mechanization solutions such as welding machines, were presented in a space of over 700 square meters.

2007

Heidenbluth is building a new warehouse for welding consumables

To provide additional storage capacity, a new, additional hall was completed in 2007. This further increased the storage capacity for welding consumables. Welding consumables for all processes are stored in this hall, which now covers over 2,000 square meters. Today, Heidenbluth keeps over 300 tons of welding wire in stock.

2010

Heidenbluth mourns founder Wilfried

The founder of Heidenbluth passed away in 2010. Wilfried and Irmgard Heidenbluth led the company with passion, dedication, and business acumen for many years, laying the foundation for its current success.

2014

Heidenbluth offers training courses

In addition to its traditional wholesale business and its increasingly important automation division, Heidenbluth now also offers training courses at its Welding University. Besides standard welding courses, Heidenbluth also offers workshops for aluminum and stainless steel welding. This completes its service program and makes Heidenbluth a full-service partner.

2017

Establishment of the branch in Lippstadt in North Rhine-Westphalia

Since March 2017, Heidenbluth has had a branch in Lippstadt and is now represented in North Rhine-Westphalia in addition to Hesse and Thuringia. It is centrally located in the Lippstadt industrial park with excellent transport connections. Besides welding machines with all necessary components, welding torches, welding consumables, and welding accessories for manual and automated applications, the Heidenbluth branch in Lippstadt offers a wide range of services.

2020

Heidenbluth is investing in a new application center

A new application center with an area of ​​2,000 square meters is being commissioned, offering a wide range of welding robot systems and other automation solutions. In addition, the training rooms for theory and practice are being expanded. Today, Heidenbluth is still a family-run company with over 50 employees, operating throughout Germany.

50 years of Heidenbluth welding technology
